Sup, I'm new

My rig is aging a bit, most of it is about 2 years old now, will probably upgrade over summer holidays. Although I did get a new graphics card 6 months ago which gave it a pretty huge boost, still plays everything with some eye candy, big monitor can be hard for stuff like crysis though :)

CPU: Intel E6600 running at 3.6ghz (TT Big typhoon cooler with 108CFM fan)
RAM: 2gb OCZ ddr2
Motherboard: Asus P5B Deluxe
HDD: 500gb + 320gb seagates
PSU: Corsair HX620w
Graphics: ATi HD4870x2 (the beast)  :) <--this is the only reason my comp can still play new games well, probably bottlenecked but ah well
Screen: Dell 2405FPW ultrasharp 24" 1920x1200 LCD
Speakers: Logitech Z-5500
Sound card: X-Fi xtremegamer fatality
Keyboard: Logitech G15 (old blue one)
Mouse: Logitech G9
Case: Olddd Thermaltake Tsunami with some mods, added some LEDs and a neon and upgraded the fans

I love eye candy...which will probably make me go i7 over summer...until then, will have to rely on the 4870x2

OS: Windows XP Pro 32-bit (yeah I know, I know)

Had I known this was here I would have posted sooner :D.  What are you planning to with your laptop Ratty?  I'll put some pics up of my setup, might be an option for you to try if you want.  My old laptop sits next to my desktop on a software KVM, connected via crossover ethernet on its own subnet.  It's also good for transfering/syncing files between them, but depends how often you take your laptop out.



UPDATE:
OS: Windows 7
HDD: 3 x 1TB (Media), 1 x 1.5TB (Main Storage - Program Files, My Documents), 1x160 (OS)

It's actually being used by my mum and sister now - I got this new computer mainly because the old acer laptop they were using was turning to dust. So I got a new computer, they get my old asus laptop, and the old acer laptop is just sitting around now :p

Really would've been pretty awesome if I could have kept the asus laptop for my own use, since the p6t V2 has two ethernet ports :D Could have had it on permanant crossover while also being plugged into router, with the laptop wirelessly connected to router xDDD Kinda meshed up there. xD

Anyway yeah. It's not really mine anymore. :P
